Kalpavriksham Trust, in collaboration with Global Cancer Concern India, conducted an insightful and inspiring session on women’s health, cancer prevention, early detection, healthy lifestyle practices, and the importance of regular screening at Women’s Christian College, Nungambakkam, on 20th August 2026. The session reached around 2,000 students and staff, who participated enthusiastically and actively engaged throughout the program.Dr. M. Banupriya, Senior Consultant Radiation Oncologist at Privaram Cancer Hospital, delivered the session, highlighting cervical cancer prevention, the importance of HPV vaccination, and the role of regular screening in reducing the risk of cervical cancer. The session empowered attendees with valuable knowledge to make informed health decisions and encouraged a proactive approach to wellness, disease prevention, and early detection.This impactful awareness initiative not only educated young women on essential health topics but also motivated them to adopt healthier habits, prioritize preventive healthcare, and undergo timely screenings.
